i consider my little mixed media pieces to be visual poems. i know it sounds strange, but i find a lot of poetry living in the uncomfortable/transformative moments of life. i think that in the smaller parts of the greater story a lot of truth can be found. in my work i am trying to capture those moments, or breaths, the looks that you "think" you may have seen, or that deep deep sigh that happens way in the background (but only sometimes). what i am hoping to do is to hand you that moment and have you think your own thoughts about them, and then, together with each and every meeting we are creating our own new truth.
